DBT stands for Do Big Things. What started as a joke in middle school has slowly transformed into an authentic movement. Nate is from Northern Virginia and established DBT when he took his musical interest to another level while studying at the University of Miami. Beginning with college parties and moving into some of the top venues in the country, DBT has been crafting his own events and supporting other artists with a distinct energy for over a decade. Throughout college he performed at renown Miami venues, winning numerous highly-competitive contests including a stand-out from Avicii. After gaining a strong presence in Miami he moved back to the DC area and began throwing his own events where his track record is comprised of dozens of sold out, solo headline shows at the most notable venues in the district. A few years later, in search of a new scene and sunshine, he set-up shop in San Diego to bridge the East and West coasts with DBT energy. Much larger than a single DJ, DBTnation is an expansive web of creative and connected individuals around the world. Now an established brand with clothing worn by people globally including the likes of Laidback Luke, DBTnation invites you to become a part of this juicy community and can’t wait to meet you on the dance floor!
A true vibe curator on the decks he utilizes his unique style of DJing and various arsenal of music to mesmerize dance floors. Every set takes you on an journey full of twists and turns that keeps you dancing from beginning to end.
Castillo is a man of many talents. Cameraman by day and vibe creator by night, he’s known for his disco grooves and techno belters. On top of all of this, he somehow finds time to produce unforgettable events with his party posse, The Afternoon Umbrella Friends.
Engaging in his passion for music from an early age, starting off as a guitarist and vocalist for a punk rock band turned reggae in middle/high school days has been DJing around San Diego for the past 5 years. You can usually find him spinning the various sub genres within house, but under the right circumstances ventures out into other realms of electronic music.
