Proudly advocating the Chicago sound, Karsten takes considerable influence from some of the scene’s most acclaimed names. With a strong penchant for soulful vocals and infectious grooves, Karsten’s undeniable drive and dedication have proven to be the constants in ensuring his arrival to the international dance music scene.
Consciously honoring the pioneers that came before him, he has evolved into a devoted representative of contemporary house music. Having commercially released more than 60 original tracks and remixes to date, Karsten’s impressive output has recently earned him a spot in the Grammy Recording Academy as a voting member.
Always active on the scene, Karsten continues to champion the very best in house music with his intense touring schedule, which expands across all continents, and continually thriving in multiple local and international DJ residencies.
This month, Techniche (9PM – 2AM) celebrates 7 years of carbon-based techno! We celebrate by kicking things off early at 9pm and will feature special B2B sets from Techniche Residents Myxzlplix + Jon E. Thin, and Ciara B + Nathan Gorey. Techniche has remained steadfast in establishing itself as a significant vehicle for quality tech house, techno & the “darker side” of house music, which is currently ruling the local dance scene.
